Atom Egoyan’s Remember has been selected to the Main Competition of the 2015 Venice Film Festival. Remember is yet another retelling of the horror of Jewish Holocaust which is described as  “a compelling thriller in which the darkest chapter of modern history collides with a contemporary mission of revenge.” Headlining the cast is Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer (Beginners, Ararat, The Sound of Music), along with Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), Academy Award winner Martin Landau (Ed Wood, Tucker, Crimes and Misdemeanors), and celebrated Swiss actor Bruno Ganz. The Canadian produced film has been recently picked up for US distribution by the newbie A24 Films (Spring Breakers, The Bling Ring, The Spectacular Now, A Most Violent Year).

Egoyan told the The Hollywood Reporter that he considers Plummer as one of the finest actors in the world, and assures that his performance (as an old man who discovers that the Nazi guard who killed his family 70 years ago is living incognito in America) is  a crowning achievement.
